My translation
During today’s lunch break, I decided to buy a cup of latte at the coffee shop donwstairs. When I was waiting in the line, I came across a former colleague that I hadn’t seen for a long time. We chatted about our recent life there. We were so absorbed that before I knew it, the lunch break was about to an end. So I took an order in a hurry, and headed to the office with my coffee.
